The museum is located within the existing storage campus of Turkish Red Crescent in Etimesgut. It is formed through the transformation of 4 warehouses which were built in 1930s. In the existing condition, the warehouses are interconnected with a rail passage below the ground. This passage is utilized to provide the continuity of the chronological exhibition while different themes organize different exhibitions on the ground floors of each warehouse.
