MALTEPE, ÇINAR SOCIAL CENTER:
NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSE, ALZHEIMER'S HOUSE & KINDERGARTEN

The starting point of the design is the independent but related functioning of 3 different programs specified in the competition specifications. Each of these three programs are programs with their own social dynamics, users and restrictions, and their integration into the existing social life of the neighborhood will be quite different from each other. While the proposal connects the Alzheimer's House and Neighborhood House, located at two different ends of the land, with a social terrace, the urban circulation coming from two different planes, while shaping the two ends of the land located at different levels with an urban pass. The Kindergarten space is retracted from this intermediate axis and arranged in a partially sheltered position around the inner courtyard it forms. This inner courtyard that has been created carries this green trace inside the building by integrating with the small green islets in the surrounding and the greenery of the urban void next to it.
