A focus building should be in coherence with the spirit of the city and while being integrated with the city in terms of form and function. Therefore, our approach is to design the focus building as a whole with its surroundings in order to bring forth the existing values and potentials of the city.

The fundamental elements of the image of the city of Antalya are defined as "History and Culture", "Nature" and "Agriculture". The areas of the city which shows the characteristics of these 3 elements are linked to the competition area visually. For "History and Culture", "Castle and Historical Center", For "Nature", "Düden and Sea Cliffs", For "Agriculture", "Greenhouses and Gardens" are defined as characteristic city parts.

The landscape organization of the area is visually, textually and functionally referring to these three city parts. These 3 axes are connected through "Antalya Promenade" which is the reflection of the whole city.
